I left the AA Driving School in March 2010 to go it alone and have had 90 passes since. My 1st time pass rate is very high, but for those that don't make it on the 1st attempt (purely through nerves usually) 95% will pass second time.

I am a very patient instructor who will tailor the lessons to suit your individual needs at the time, helping to build your confidence and ability where needed.

I will not just 'teach you to pass the test' like many of my competitors will do, so lessons may sometimes be in different areas to build your experience of different road conditions, layouts and traffic conditions.

If you pay for a 2 hour lesson, you will get a 2 hour lesson. I will not stop to get fuel half way through, or pop to Halfords for some windscreen wipers just to 'waste a bit of time', which is something I hear about far too often sadly.

Although there is obviously some need to be parked at the side of the road from time to time to discuss things, I will keep this to a minimum where possible and keep you on the road!! I often hear stories of how the first lesson was spent parked up and the pupil didn't even switch on the engine. All of my pupils are moving the car within 10 minutes, which I find grabs their interest and quickly helps them to see that, with the proper instruction, driving isn't that hard after all. Pupils are then happy to go over all the safety aspects at the end.

You may wonder why my prices are a little cheaper than some of my competitors. I realise that learning to drive is not cheap, so hopefully my pricing may make it a little more affordable for you.....(or whoever is paying for it!!)
